The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) recently conducted the Written Examination for the post of Accounts Assistant, Finance Department, UT Cadre, as advertised through Advertisement Notification No. 04 of 2020 under Item No. 106.
The exam, held on January 28, 2024, saw active participation from aspiring candidates.
The Provisional Answer Key for the exam, categorized into Series A, B, C, and D, has been released and is now available for candidates’ reference. This key, annexed as Annexure “A” to the official notice, aims to provide clarity to candidates regarding their performance in the examination.
Candidates who wish to challenge any of the answers provided in the provisional key can do so by submitting their objections or representations.
To ensure a structured process, objections must be submitted on the prescribed format/proforma provided in Annexure “B” along with relevant documentary proof or evidence supporting their claims.
Additionally, candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- per question as a demand draft, which will be refunded in the case of valid objections.
It’s important to note that objections and representations will only be accepted in offline mode. Candidates can visit the office of JKSSB at CPO Chowk, Panjtirthi, Jammu, or JKSSB at Zamzam Building, Rambagh, Srinagar, during office hours starting from January 29, 2024.
The Board strictly adheres to this timeline and will not entertain any submissions beyond the stipulated period or through alternative modes.
Controller of Examinations, J&K Services Selection Board, Mr. Reyaz Ahmad Malik, emphasized the importance of this process in ensuring fairness and transparency in the examination system. He highlighted that any corrections made based on valid objections will be applicable to all candidates, ensuring equal treatment for all.
The official notification, bearing reference No. JKSSB-COE0EXAM(UT)/105/2023-03 (7372799), has been circulated to relevant authorities, including the Director of Information & Public Relations, J&K Jammu/Srinagar, for publication in leading newspapers of Jammu/Kashmir.
Additionally, copies have been sent to Board members, the Secretary of J&K Services Selection Board, the Accounts Officer, and the Private Secretary to the Chairman for necessary actions and information dissemination.
